Anna did an amazing job!!!
My hair had been messed up by a previous stylist, so I called Salt asking for an emergency fix. They were able to fit me in the next day, despite their booked schedule.
After giving it a day, I called back and let them know that I didn’t like the color. They immediately booked me for a free fix a few days after, and made everything perfect.
This is an honest business you can trust!! The atmosphere is fun and the ladies are lovely to chat with.

I am not from the area and came in for a haircut before I went on a family cruise. I have very curly and frizzy hair that has not been cut in over 9 months. None of it was the same length and very disproportionate and disconnected. It had so many knots I couldn't even run my fingers through it without getting stuck. Katie was incredible and did exactly what I asked of her. She is certified for cutting curls specifically and got my curl VERY hydrated and styled a way I have never felt before in my life! I used to go to Salt Hair Studio a few years ago and always had a positive experience with Sybil.

I was in town this weekend and wanted to get by hair highlighted here because of these past positive experiences. Sybil did not have availability so the salon booked me with another hairdresser.

Though I was not happy with the results, the salon did everything in their power to rectify the situation. I am very touched and happy with the salon’s customer service. The salon’s owner was understanding and empathetic, listening to my own situation carefully and sharing her own wisdom and experience. I had my hair foil retouched today with some additional low-lights. Kaylee did an amazing job. It was my first time there and she made it exactly like the picture I showed her. I used to work as a hairdresser in this same town. I can tell when someone is excellent with color and she is an expert stylist. The pricing was very reasonable, NOT like some of the crazy salons charging over $200 for highlights. The inside is so well set up with Texan decor. It was an all around refreshing atmosphere. I will be returning. Thanks Kaylee, I finally found a stylist that really listened and did exactly what I requested. You should also know this is only my 3rd review I have written in my lifetime....more

I have been going to Salt for over 2 years and I wouldn't trust anyone else to touch my hair! They are amazing...and here's why...I feel so comfortable and at home there. Not just a client, but a friend, and family member. The salon is so clean and well kept. All the stylists are absolute pros at what they do. They are very well trained and up to date with the latest trends, techniques, and fashion. They travel all over the country for training, investing in themselves, and holding themselves to a VERY high standard of service. They offer everything you could imagine or need...from Dream Catcher extensions, and Quidad curl products, to Keratin treatments. Plus, they are ALL certified as MASTER colorists with Goldwell. I buy all my hair products in there as well. They have the BEST brands and are almost always running a sale so I get great products at a great price. I love the fact that I can go home with the same shampoo/conditioner or dry shampoo, or root lifter etc...(the list could go on and on) that they use while I'm there. They are always stocked very well with products and tools.
Chan, the owner, has an amazing team of stylists! My personal favorite is Katie! She is my hair expert and I love "hair appointment" day! You will be so glad you chose Salt Hair, trust me!...more

I have been going to Chan for many many years now for a reason. She helped me repair my hair from another stylist who burned it off. She is always up on latest treatments, continues her education, and has a variety of products specifically for the clients needs. My hair was straight and due to illness and medications it has become curly. Salt and Chan had a solution for me for this also! I have started wearing my hair curly and Chan is a master at curly cut and styling too! She gave me a very cute stylish cut and helped me understand my new hair. Got a brand new style from a brand new (for me) stylist, Katy. She was like Richard Scissor Hand. Thought I'd faint watching my hair flying in every direction. When she was done, my hair was transformed into the best haircut I've had in 40 years! Totally different from any of my expectations, and beautiful. The proof came as soon as I got home. A neighbor came to say hi, and immediately said my hair looked GREAT, and asked about it.

After recently moving to the area and not having a stylist here (...and girls...we all know that can be a major anxiety trigger situation lol), I was referred to Salt by a good friend who has always has fabulous hair. When I first called to set up an appointment they were booked for weeks (I had been warned) but that does not deter me and instead find it to be a fairly good indication of a quality salon.

Beverly at the front desk was more than helpful and went above and beyond to match me with a stylist and try to fit me in the schedule. She was warm and understanding and put me on the waiting list. Unlike many places where you'll never hear from again after being told you are on the "list"...she called me any time they had an opening. I'm so grateful eventually a slot opened that I could make in perfect timing for a very important event.

The salon itself is beautiful and welcoming with jewel tone colors and a beachy, laid-back feel. A drink was offered upon entering and it wasn't long before I met Chan, who would be doing my hair. I definitely noticed the woman in her chair had gorgeous hair and instantly felt comfortable. Chan is an obvious professional and does a stellar job! I enjoyed talking and laughing with her and am so happy with the results. Her highlight artistry looks natural and toned...just like I wanted.

7/19/21: Last week I got tired of having green hair, so I made the mistake of bleaching it at home (DON'T do this). My hair didn't get damaged by the bleach but I looked like a sprite can lol. The next day I called Salt to see if they could fix it and they got me in with Sybil a couple days later. Sybil did a great job of removing the green and bringing me to a blonde. I then decided I wanted to go purple, so we scheduled an appointment for me to come back. Katie worked on my hair and gave me the most beautiful, bright purple I could imagine. It's perfect!!!! I love it. Huge shout-out to everyone at Salt for helping fix my mistake! I will always come back to Salt and I recommend them to anyone. original review: I haven't had a haircut for over a decade. This year my hair had grown to about hip-length and I had dyed it green. I'm new to this area and had the same hair stylist in Miami for 18 years. I have very long, thick, dark curly hair and was hesitant to try a new place. I saw the reviews on Yelp for Salt and decided to try it. BEST decision I ever made!! Trish knocked it out of the ball park for me. She took the time to listen to my concerns, together we came up with a plan and she executed it perfectly! I took my daughter to get her hair cut by Sybil and she too was just awesome! Everyone there is professional and nice. It smells great when you walk in, not all chemically like other salons. The chairs for washing your hair are cozy and have a head rest so your neck doesn't hurt. The hair color they use doesn't dry out your hair. The prices are reasonable. Trish took her time with me and stayed late until my hair was perfect. I love this place and now recommend it to everyone <3...more

I also just have to mention the sinks they have to wash your hair in have support for your head! I've never been more comfortable while my hair has been washed.
